Itinerary

Day 1Depart From Nairobi to Voi

Depart from Nairobi and enjoy the scenic drive to Voi town. Check in to Voi Wildlife Lodge for lunch. Leave for an evening game drive throughout the park.

Tsavo National Park is the biggest game park in Kenya. You will enjoy viewing elephants, lions, zebras, buffalos, giraffes, impala,s and many game and birds.

Note this tour can be extended for more nights here and at Amboseli Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.

Day 2Leave Tsavo to Mombasa

Depart Tsavo and travel downwards after breakfast and arrive in Mombasa. Check-in into your hotel for lunch. Spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach or for a little more activities like scuba diving or a boat ride or any other water sports. You can have dinner in the Hotels or leave to another one like the Tamarind Dhow Nawalicker – then tour Mombasa by night back for an overnight stay into your Beach Hotel.

Day 3Mombasa

Take like half a day exploring the Mombasa City visiting Fort Jesus, Old Town, the modern Houses a long the Mombasa Town. Drive to the AKAMBA HANDCRAFT CENTRE – WOOD CARVING SHOPS where you will see the red African work done by Hand.

Have lunch and append the whole day visiting this famous old Arab Town. Then drive back to your Hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4Malindi

After breakfast depart to Malindi. It will take like 2 Hrs by road along the way you will be able to see coastal sites and attractive display of sisal plantations.

Arrive for lunch and after that take a short drive to Gedi Ruins and see the remains of 15th Century Arab African town build only from rocks and stones.

It was inhabited by the Swahili people and ruled by the very rich Sultan. Keep on your enjoyment on the Beach Diner and overnight at the Beach Hotel in Malindi.

Day 5Malindi

Tour this Historic town visiting the Coral built by Vasco Da Gama Pillar erected and named in honor of the famous Portuguese explorer.

Walkthrough the streets of old Malindi Town and see the architecture a mix of 14th Century Arab Malindi and coastal Bantu styles of the architectural designs shop around mixing with the locals and later visit the marine park. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6Malindi - Lamu

After Breakfast, take a flight to Lamu from Malindi, arriving time for Lunch after which you will cool off on the beach as you prepare to take the sunset cruise sailing past traditional dholuos and fishermen on the way home. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Lamu

Spend the whole day touring this old Lamu town with streets so Narrow no cars are allowed on the islands. The main mode of transport is on a donkey. Visit Monkey Sanctuary and Ancient Lamu Fort as you ix mostly with the Muslim people. The town’s population is mostly Arabs.

Dinner and overnight at the Lamu Hotel.

Day 8Departure

Enjoy a lazy morning and check out in time to catch a flight back to Nairobi. Arriving Late evening. Note more nights can be extended as one wishes.
